Red Rocks State Park!

This weekend I went hiking at Red Rocks. It was amazingly beautiful, even if I discovered I am not in enough shape to be hiking at 6500 ft above sea level in the snow, whoops. I wish the photos I took could give you a better idea of the sheer scale of these formations, but even so they're impressive:

I love living in Colorado so muchhhhhh.

Sketchdump 1/19-1/25

I finally figured out how to use GPhotos for actual image hosting, so the pictures in this and my previous posts are all visible now! Anyway, this week I worked on drawing eyes. (I also spent a stupid amount of time sketching different poses for a bigger painting but didn't use any of them lmao)

pwnmercys . Guess I'm gonna actually start using this now that tumblr is uh... even more not-great than it used to be. I used to like LJ so I'll give DW my best shot. For the new year, I'm gonna try to post at least weekly sketchdumps, which will hopefully be a little easier to hold myself to than my sketch-a-day blog was, as well as crossposting some art from other accounts. And of course there will also be standard journal fare. Maybe some meta if I can get more involved in the fandom communities here? I miss writing meta.

If we're friends plz add me so my shouts into the void don't echo as much.
